Studio & Stay: Home Away from Home
I’m Red, and after 7 years of travel nursing, I finally decided to plant roots here in DC. I bought a little red-brick row home in Petworth, a cozy neighborhood that feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but still keeps you close to the city.
I know how tough it can be to find comfortable furnished housing before starting an assignment, that’s why I’ve created the kind of place I always wished existed.
This private, pet-friendly 1-bedroom apartment in the Petworth neighborhood of D.C. includes a full kitchen, bathroom, cozy living room with TV and Wi-Fi, in-unit washer/dryer, and secure entry, with plenty of nearby parking. It’s a calm, homey space where you can unwind after a shift, cook a real meal, and recharge, with your pet right by your side (permitted on a case-by-case basis).
Beyond the walls, I love sharing the experiences that make D.C. so special, from neighborhood coffee shops and diverse restaurants to Rock Creek Park’s hiking and biking trails, weekend gallery openings, and hidden local gems. You might even catch an Ethiopian coffee ceremony or see some of the handmade prints I create in my studio. Get started below….
